Quick Update

Unfortunately, we're still not able to upload any pictures just yet (we are staying at a campsite, though, so any internet access is a pluss, we guess). Hopefully tomorrow on our way to Wellington we'll find a computer so that you'll be able to see the yellowstone-like formations, geysers, and mud baths we saw outside of rotorua; lake Taupo (which shines like lake Tahoe) and some waterfalls we hiked to; and the Tongariro Alpine Crossing hike, which we did today, an 18km hike alongside a volcano, through a crater, and by some emerald lakes.

On another note, we've now been driving for 4 days in New Zealand and we're starting to get used to it. Here are our Top 5 Best and Top 5 Worst things about driving in New Zealand:

Bottom 5
1. right turns
2. one lane bridges
3. looking at the maps while Jon enjoys the scenery
4. looking at the road while Louisa enjoys the scenery
5. hitting the left-sided windshield wiper every time you want to signal a turn!

Top 5
5. 100km/hr speed limit regardless of road quality or straightness
4. the turning radius on our tiny tiny toyota
3. the amazing scenery
2. you can drive with a beer...a ginger beer
1. Jon will be really good at the Special Cup
