We got out of Aukland on a Ferry yesterday to go for a hike on the dormant volcano of Rangitoto. After a quick hike up to the top, we wound our way down for a nice beach lunch on a black and white sand beach. We're off today to pick up our car and start heading South to the Coromandel peninsula, where there is supposed to be a great walk along the coast.
